1880 Beachside Tennis is a wonderfully comfortable villa and we have filled it with every amenity we appreciate when we vacation. The sweeping view of the Atlantic Ocean and Calibogue Sound is stunning and visible from nearly every room. The 180+ degree water views are only available on the 4 "corner" units at Beachside Tennis.

The superb South Beach location (oceanfront, 4th floor corner WITH ELEVATOR) and comfort of this villa make it a star on our roster of often re-visited properties. We've just installed all new smart TV's and offer high speed WiFi with secure connection. Plus- the beach and oceanfront pool are literally right outside your door.

This villa boasts an exceptionally outfitted kitchen with all new appliances, opening into a dining area with seating for 6, and beyond to the living area and wrap-around waterfront balcony.

The spacious living area features a 75" LCD flat screen HDTV, Sonos sound, and BluRay.

Two bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queens) each boast the comfiest bed linens we could find, with fluffy pillows as well as all digital TV and Netflix. The bathrooms are fully renovated and sparkling clean. There is also in-unit laundry and whole-house water filtration.

PAYMENTS: 50% due upon booking. Full amount due at 29 days prior to arrival. Long term winter reservations policy differs- please inquire.

CANCELLATIONS: You may cancel your reservation without penalty and receive full refund up to 30 days prior to arrival. 14-30 days prior to arrival date you may cancel and receive 50% refund. Travel insurance is always highly recommended.

HOW FAR TO BEACH: Simply head down the elevator or stairs and across the boardwalk-- and you're there!

POOL: Oceanfront -- Pool open April - September (not heated).

PETS: So sorry, we only accept human guests at this villa.

WHAT’S INCLUDED: Your property will come stocked with all of the household amenities you will need for the duration of your stay, including trash bags, dish soaps, perfume free laundry products, paper towels, bath tissues, hand and bar soaps, even coffee supplies. We also stock beach toys, beach chairs and umbrellas, even a mini Shibumi beach shade. All you have to do is come and enjoy.

  We absolutely loved this place. The view was great, walking distance to food and ice cream. The beach was not at all crowded. And the place was very nice. We will come back here again. The one thing that would have made the trip a little bit easier is if the check-in information was e-mailed or mailed to us. Had to go by the office and pick it up and unfortunately, we arrived while there was a lot of traffic so according to GPS having to pick up info instead of going straight to the location added almost 20 minutes to our trip. Probably not a big deal if we hadn't already been driving 10+ hours but at the end of a long trip the additional time seemed like a long time to wait in stand still traffic to pick up the code and parking pass. Other than that 1 thing, the place was perfect.

  This apartment was literally perfect! The beds were extremely comfy and the place was stocked with everything we needed. Most importantly the view was to die for! We had a view to the pool as well as the ocean. Nothing like enjoying a sundowner while watching dolphins swim by. There were elevators so it was very easy to get the suitcases and groceries up to the fourth floor. We could not hear anything from the apartment above which is always kind of a pet peeve of mine. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely home.

  Don't hesitate to rent this lovely condo. Everything was beautifully appointed and the location could not be beat. Bike rentals and the marina are right across the street. If you love tennis and pickle ball the courts are a 3 minute walk. The views from the condo are gorgeous. In addition to the ocean we watched deer graze in the dunes and dolphins play daily in the sound. We are a family of 5 and were a bit concerned that the condo might feel small, but it worked just fine for us. All and all a wonderful Thanksgiving week!

  We decided to take a last minute friend's weekend and wanted a quiet retreat rather than a crowded hotel. From the minute we entered this condo, taking in the immediate stunning view, we knew we had chosen wisely. While there were only two of us, this condo offers sleeping for up to 6, and although the unit is small, 6 people could absolutely comfortably stay and live there thanks to the wonderful use of space. The furnishings are both beautiful and comfortable and the entire condo is well appointed with items you may need during a visit. The building itself, landscaped to invite people in, is very nice with stairs and elevators throughout for easy access anytime. The pool and grounds are beautiful and serene. We didn't want to waste our precious few days at the beach sitting at restaurants, and so chose to walk over to The Salty Dog and grab to-go dinners to eat on our ocean view balcony. The owners and BESTNEST even had a small welcome basket of fruit and snacks for us! In all my years of going to HHI, this condo, with it's stunning views and inviting furnishings, ranks best of all.

  The location was convenient to the pool and the beach and just a walk across the street to the Salty Dog complex and access to the Trolly, shopping and Bike Rentals. The unit was quiet , had plenty of outdoor equipment as well as beach towels. I plan on booking here again.
  We rarely stay in hotels anymore and are very particular about our rentals, this was definitely a five star.

  This villa is exactly like the photos. We enjoyed having the corner unit as you got double the ocean view!! Everything was nice and clean when we arrived. We liked the outside hall closet where you could use the beach chairs, cooler, etc. The beach was just a short walk. Saw dolphins every day! Sea Pines area is a great place to stay. Extremely convenient to walk to The Salty Dog which is only a five minute walk.

  This unit was perfect for our group of four. We have visited Sea Pines since 1999, always staying in a different condo and different Sea Pines "neighborhoods." For the past three visits, however, we have stayed in the Beachside Tennis condos given the proximity to the beach WITHOUT THE CROWDS. This unit was hands-down the best of the three so far, and I don't think I'll continue to look further! I was hesitant to write this review because I don't want to share the secret of this lovely spot - the interior updates, beach chairs on-site, wrap around deck...we will be back!

  The location of the condo cannot be beat. We watched the dolphins every afternoon and enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the wrap around patio. We even had deer come right up to the condo. This villa is now undergoing a total transformation and will next be available for guests in April of 2019. EVERYTHING will be new and there will not be another Beachside Tennis Villa like it. Reserve now! ps-- I can attest that this villa was a total 5 for cleanliness as I personally did the move out and I could have eaten off the floors. I do not generally contradict a guest, but in this case, I am afraid I do. Yes, the furniture might have been a 4, but wait until you see it next spring.

  Our stay was wonderful! I can honestly say I over-packed, not at all anticipating how well stocked our condo would actually be. From the beach toys, beach chairs (6) & beach cart to ziplock bags and sugar in the kitchen, this condo had everything we needed. Plenty of space for us to have our space when needed, comfortable beds and nice towels, extremely clean...and views of the water from every window - we will be back! The elevator was maybe 10 feet from the door, which made coming and going to the pool and beach (both just steps away) with 4 year old twins a breeze, which never happens. This was our first family vacation without help with our twins from grandparents and the accessibility & location of the condo made it so easy to do. Literally the only thing the condo didn’t have was chip clips for our groceries. ;)

  This place is paradise. Sitting on the balcony looking over the sound is very relaxing. The condo is perfect. We open all the windows. Letting the ocean breeze in. They had everything there shampoo, soap, trash bags, everything you can think of was already there. I would definitely go back. We loved it here. Gretchen,Stella and my Mom.
