• Linens: Ahhhhh, yes! Completely comfortable, all cotton bed and bath linens including extra blankets and clean and comfy sleeping pillows, and clean kitchen linens.
• Always provided in every BESTNEST in quantity for your stay: beach chairs/umbrellas/sand toys/beach cart, beach towels, a supremely equipped kitchen (in quality and quantity), hand soap, dish soap, kitchen sponges, trash bags, paper towels, tissues and toilet paper, your favorite hair dryer ever, fragrance free laundry soap and dryer sheets, ziploc bags, coffee filters, cleaning supplies, loads of quality coat and skirt hangers, and a few surprises.

Our FAQ:

HOW FAR TO BEACH: Out the front door and less than 5 minutes walk and your toes are in the surf.

PETS: We welcome your well-behaved dog (small to medium sized) for $350 per dog, maximum 2. Regrettably, Labradors and other oily coated breeds are not allowed. Dogs are never allowed on furniture or beds (or their humans have to pay a fine) and must be crated when left alone.

No pets in your party? No problem as there is NO pet evidence in this house.

PAYMENTS: For reservations made thirty (30) days or less days prior to arrival, payment in full is due at the time the reservation is made. For reservations made thirty one (31) days or more prior to arrival, payment of 25% of the total is required, and the full amount of travel insurance premium, if accepted, is required at the time of booking. The balance of the final total is required thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Long term winter reservations policy differs- please inquire.

CANCELLATIONS: You are welcome to cancel your reservation without penalty and receive full refund of your deposit up to 31 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made 14 days to 30 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund of total payment. At 13 days prior to arrival, your reservation becomes noncancelable and non-refundable. Travel insurance is always highly recommended.

POOL (Heatable): Featuring Baja shallow shelf with water spouts. Great for kids and older folks. Heatable with electricity (cost effective, but ineffective in coldest months of the year). Charge for electric pool heat is  $150.00 for the first day and $50.00 each additional day during March - May and September - November. This charge is non-taxable and non-refundable.

  5 Periwinkle Lane in Hilton Head was everything described and more. We could not have designed a better house and our experience with the host, Beverly Serral was excellent. The house was actually larger than expected; all rooms were large, including the bedrooms that were not the masters. The house was **** and span, well appointed and felt like home from the minute we walked in. Our family of 7 had more than enough room to spread out. We very much appreciated all the "extras" for the beach: plenty of chairs, umbrellas, two carts and even toys for the kids. The pool was great and we liked being screened off from the street and other houses with landscaping. We were literally about 7 minutes walking from the beach and liked being set off a bit in the Folly Field community. We have been coming to HHI for over 40 years with kids and now grandkids and this is the best house yet. Thanks so much for a great opportunity to enjoy this house. Our hosts were very accommodating and responsive.

  A family trip with a few friends to celebrate a big birthday. It was a long weekend and we wish we could have stayed longer. The house was a short and easy walk to the beach. It was so well stocked and cozy. The kitchen was better stocked than any rental I have ever rented, and included a nice assortment of spices for cooking. There were lots of beach chairs, umbrellas and toys. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the bathrooms were nicely stocked with towels, soaps, shampoos & conditioners. I totally overpacked!   We had a great time at 5 Periwinkle Lane with our extended family. There were 10 of us and we all fit comfortably. The house was just a short walk to the beach and came equipped with tons of beach equipment, including two wagons which made the walk much easier. The closest beach does get pretty busy because it's a public access point, so if you are looking for seclusion this probably isn't your best bet. For us it worked great. We didn't use the pool very often, but it was a good size for the kids to play around.

  This house was amazing. It was very clean and stocked with everything you would need on vacation. Pet friendly was a plus for us and our fur babies loved the treats that were left for them. The basket full of goodies they left for us was unexpected and we loved the added touch. The only issue we had was that we couldn’t locate the outside trashcan. Wasn’t a big deal as we took the trash off when we left but would like to know where it was for future stays. We will definitely rent from Bestnest again!

  We had a great time and would definitely make our way back to Hilton Head. The house was perfect for our family! The pool area was perfect and having the grill was so nice! We used it almost every day. The walk to the beach was so easy and having the wagon and beach toys was a great touch! The whole island is easy to get around on and the path in the shade is awesome!
