Just a short walk from the beach and South Beach Marina Village, 8 Gull Point invites guests to experience Hilton Head from one of its most picturesque settings.

THE SETTING: 8 Gull Point offers a front-row seat to the beauty of our little island. Expansive views stretch across the broad tidal marsh, where shifting tides, graceful wading birds, and spectacular sunsets create a new scene every day. Large windows throughout the home bring these peaceful surroundings indoors, while the spacious rear deck and private pool provide the perfect place to relax and take it all in. It's a setting that feels wonderfully private while remaining just minutes from the beach and all that Sea Pines has to offer.

POOL AND OUTDOOR LIVING: The private pool overlooks the marsh, creating a peaceful setting for sunny afternoons and relaxing evenings outdoors. Enjoy breakfast on the deck as birds drift across the marsh, spend the afternoon swimming or lounging poolside, then gather for dinner while watching the sunset. The pool may be heated with propane, allowing guests to enjoy outdoor living throughout much of the year (see POOL HEAT below).

FULLY STOCKED KITCHEN: The beautifully planned kitchen has been equipped with everything needed to prepare memorable meals throughout your stay. Premium cookware, matching dinnerware, generous serving pieces, quality appliances, coffee and supplies, and abundant glassware make entertaining effortless. The adjoining breakfast area overlooks the deck, pool, and marsh, providing a beautiful backdrop for every meal.

PETS: Well-behaved dogs may be considered with prior approval for a fee of $450 per dog. Oily-coated breeds, including Labradors and spaniels, cannot be accommodated. Please inquire with details about your dog(s) prior to booking.

VEHICLES/ATTACHMENTS: Denied entry to Sea Pines include motorcycles/scooters, any vehicle categorized as an RV (this includes vans with hook-ups), boats, jet skis, and trailers.

HOW FAR TO BEACH: Approximately a six- to seven-minute walk or a five-minute bike ride. A full complement of premium beach equipment is provided, including beach chairs, umbrellas, beach wagon, Shibumi shade, Yeti cooler or comparable cooler, and more.

POOL HEAT: The private pool may be heated with propane for an additional fee of $350 for the first day and $150 for each additional day during March through May and September through November. Winter rates are available upon request. Pool heat fees are non-taxable and non-refundable.

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATION POLICY: For reservations made thirty (30) days or less prior to arrival, payment in full is due at the time the reservation is made. For reservations made thirty-one (31) days or more prior to arrival, payment of 25% of the total is required, along with the full travel insurance premium if selected. The remaining balance is due thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Long-term winter reservation policies differ—please inquire. Guests may cancel up to thirty-one (31) days before arrival and receive a full refund of their deposit. Cancellations made 14 to 30 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund of the total payment. Reservations become non-cancelable and non-refundable beginning thirteen (13) days before arrival. Travel insurance is highly recommended.

  We have stayed with Best Nest by Beverly Serral six or seven times now; we would not trust our Hilton Head vacation rental experience to anyone else. Each visit has been consistently exceptional. This particular home was among our favorites. It is beautifully maintained, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out, with four bedrooms that offer plenty of comfortable space for everyone to relax.
  
  What truly sets this property apart is the view. Overlooking a peaceful marsh, it provides a front row seat to an incredible display of wildlife. Our bird app picked up well over 15 different species, we especially enjoyed watching the herons and egrets moving gracefully through the grasses. The provided binoculars were a wonderful touch, and with our own telescope, we were able to enjoy an even closer look. It made for a uniquely memorable and calming experience.
  
  The location is also ideal. It is just a short 5-10 minute easy walk to the beach. And a short bike ride to other sea pines activities like the Salty Dog restaurant.
  
  The pool was another highlight.
  
  We also appreciated the welcoming basket of snacks and the helpful list of local attractions, which made settling in easy and enjoyable.
  
  We have been coming to the Hilton Head area every year - some years twice per year, with our adult children joining us and now growing families. Homes like this from Best Nest make those trips especially meaningful. There is ample space for everyone, including little ones, to gather and unwind.
  
  Best Nest’s management team continues to impress. While we had no issues during this stay, any needs in the past have always been handled promptly, and efficiently.
  
  This is a special property that we would gladly return to again and again.

  We have stayed at several places over the years on Hilton Head island. Some inside Sea Pines and some outside. And Sea Pines was always our favorite. And then we discovered Bev and her team and have been renting houses in Sea Pines from them ever since. Each house and experience better than the next.
  
  It is true there is no better rental than one from Bev and team. The houses are all immaculate clean. Top of the line furnishings and the supplies in the kitchen and for the beach save us so much time and expense. All we have to do is show up and enjoy ourselves. Gull Point has taken it to another level. The house was perfect. From the CB2 furniture and huge open floor plan and the most amazing and peaceful views to the deck and pool as well as the beach chairs, towels and well stocked garage and kitchen.
  
  The best location yet. Just minutes from the beach by bike or walk and just a few minutes bike ride to pickleball and the Salty Dog but also off the path and on a quiet and private street where it was so quiet and private.
  
  The team and staff are attentive to everything you need and the app gives you everything you need to know. I will never rent from any other place and will be signing up again next year for Gull Point. Best vacation yet.

  I almost didn't stay at this property because despite it seeming like a lovely rental, it had no reviews, and I want to remedy that! We had a wonderful stay at 8 Gull Point. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed and more - they even had Tupperware, all kitchen equipment, multiplugs etc. You could tell it's run by a professional company. The pool was great and heated to a perfect temperature for my kids (who like it warm - with the additional fee of course). We ordered groceries ahead of time and someone came to put them away and deliver any packages before our arrival. The company was very responsive - dealing with any minor issues efficiently and professionally. Also - for anyone with small children (mine are 3 and 1) the open layout and one floor structure (no stairs) makes it perfect and safe for kids. It is a 3 minute bike ride to the beach, 5-7 minutes to salty dog. In general, the whole sea pines area is magical, has everything you need and so many activities for both adults and kids. You can get almost anywhere on bikes (we pulled the kids in a kiddie cart) which was also a super fun way to explore. Overall, we had a great vacation and look forward to staying at 8 Gull Point again in the future!

  This house was exactly as described which is refreshing in this day and age. The home had many updates, was clean and stocked with all the essentials we needed for our stay. So there was no need to run to the store to purchase a bunch of standard items most rentals don't provide. We found everything very comfortable, especially the beds and the bathrooms. A couple of suggestions: supply a Dyson or equivalent vacuum and secure the dishwasher to the countertop. Also get the outside cushions professionally cleaned or replace them with new. And cover them with a better fabric to avoid the cushions getting soaked after a rain.
